Dr. Carapiet is a Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelors of Science from University of California, Los Angeles and Medical Degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Carapiet has completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Icahn (Mount Sinai) School of Medicine Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City. Being a trainee at one of the 11 acute care hospitals in New York City’s municipal health care system with extensive integrated ambulatory care clinics and outpatient services serving the ethnically diverse one million residents of Western Queens has offered him the opportunity at a very comprehensive medical training. He is highly experienced in treating patients on an inpatient basis during acute hospitalizations when patients are at their sickest and also on an outpatient basis, where he enjoys continuity of care, building long lasting relationships, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Carapiet served as a hospitalist at Methodist Hospital of Southern California in Arcadia. Most recently, he has joined Harmony Health MD where he continues to strive for patient education, motivation and satisfaction on daily basis while delivering the latest in evidence based medicine. Dr. Carapiet is a member of American College of Physicians, La County Medical Association and Armenian American Medical Society.
