An Evening of Mentorship and Career Development

The Armenian American Medical Society (AAMS) held a mentorship event at Eden on Brand on December 19, 2021. More than 30 students and medical residents enrolled in various healthcare education programs (i.e., medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and other allied health) interacted with a broad spectrum of licensed healthcare professionals.

These professionals provide valuable guidance and advice throughout their training and as they begin their careers. Some of the topics touched upon included applying to health professional programs, interviewing tips, and other tools to plan for a successful career.

The program was organized by Astkhik Zakian, PharmD, AAMS board member; and Raffi Tachdjian, MD, MPH, FAAAAI, chair, AAMS Mentorship Committee, and AAMS past-president.
