AAMS Holds Hybrid 17th Annual CME & CDE Las Vegas Getaway

After COVID thwarted the 2020 CME and CDE Conference Las Vegas Getaway, the AAMS created a hybrid event held September 24 – 26, 2021, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Mindful of COVID protocols, this event was a combination of in-person interaction, all held outdoors, and an online education component.

The conference offered 15 CMEs and 11 CDEs presented by leading experts in their fields. Participants viewed the pre-recorded courses online before meeting in Las Vegas. Once there, they had the opportunity to participate in CME/CDE panel discussions and a Q & A with the presenters.

The conference wasn’t all work and no play, however. There was plenty of networking and socializing opportunities for participants and their guests, including dinner and a reception following the panel discussions.

The new format was very well-received. The AAMS plans to continue incorporating new technology into its events and evolving to meet the needs of its members, not only during the pandemic but beyond.
