Dr. Harry Balian received his Medical Degree from Chicago Medical School in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Balian then completed his Interventional Cardiology and Vascular training at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Balian specializes in the treatment of heart disease, coronary artery percutaneous interventions, and pacemaker insertions. He also performs peripheral vascular interventions, including carotid stents, endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm stents, renal stents, and lower extremity angioplasties. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine. Since 2015, Dr. Balian has served as the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and the Director of the Structural Heart Program at Glendale Adventist. He initiated the TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) program in 2016. Dr. Balian has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Armenian American Medical Society (AAMS) since 2006. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and the American Heart Association. He has been the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Glendale Adventist Heart & Vascular Institute since 2006 and previously served as the Medical Director of the Peripheral Vascular Lab at St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Balian is an Associate Clinical Professor at Western University School of Medicine.

With an extensive background in women’s health, Dr. Raffi Chalian is a highly regarded and trusted OB/GYN. Dr. Chalian earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College in London. After relocating to New York, he completed an internship at New York University Downtown Hospital, followed by a top-rated obstetrics and gynecology residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Currently, Dr. Chalian is board-certified in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Throughout his career, Dr. Chalian has held several prestigious leadership positions in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He has held faculty appointments at some of Philadelphia’s most distinguished educational facilities, including the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson Medical School (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), and Temple University. He also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. Fluent in English, Armenian, and Greek, Dr. Chalian enjoys conversing with patients who might otherwise struggle with language barriers. He is known for providing patient-centric care, making decisions in conjunction with individual patients after discussions about various treatment plans. Patients of Dr. Chalian appreciate his excellent bedside manner and natural ability to be attentive during appointments. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Alfred Danielian is the Director of Sports Cardiology and Echocardiography at Las Vegas Heart Associates, an affiliate of Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Medical School, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident and Chief Fellow. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography, Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Danielian has a particular interest and passion for the care of the athlete’s heart. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology Sports and Exercise Cardiology Section Leadership Council, serving as a leader in the field of Sports Cardiology with numerous peer-reviewed national and international publications. Dr. Carolyn Kassabian received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA. She subsequently attended the USC Keck School of Medicine, becoming a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society as a junior. In her final year of medical school, she served as the president of the AOA Gamma Chapter. Dr. Kassabian completed her dermatology residency at USC, where she served as co-chief resident in her last year. She is board-certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Since 2006, Dr. Kassabian has been in private practice in Mission Hills, where she shares an office with her husband, Dr. Garbis Kassabian. She volunteers to teach the residents at USC as a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology. Her interests in dermatology include diagnosing and treating conditions such as acne, eczema, and skin cancer, as well as providing skin rejuvenation and anti-aging treatments.

Dr. Julio Meza is an Addiction and Family Medicine Physician at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a Psychiatry in Primary Care Certified Physician at UC Irvine. Dr. Meza was born and raised in El Salvador, where he graduated Cum Laude from Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador. After graduating from medical school, he matriculated as a surgery resident at the Hospital Militar Central in El Salvador and later decided to pursue his dream of becoming a U.S. licensed family physician. Dr. Levonti Ohanisian received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University, where he also minored in French. He then spent two years developing an MCAT preparatory curriculum, which he instructed for countless pre-medical students at the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, he developed MCAT questions for leading test preparation companies. Dr. Ohanisian earned his Medical Degree from Florida Atlantic University, where he served on the student council and numerous committees, graduating at the top of his class with AOA honors. Continuing his teaching spirit, he wrote USMLE medical board questions for leading test preparation companies. Currently, Dr. Ohanisian is completing his final chief residency year in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida while simultaneously pursuing his MBA. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles and presented his research at national meetings over 28 times. After completing his residency, he will pursue a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Stanford University.

Dr. Melita Petrossian is a board-certified neurologist and movement disorders specialist in Santa Monica, CA, and has 18 years of experience. She graduated from UCLA in 2002 summa cum laude with a degree in psychobiology and earned her medical degree from UCSF School of Medicine in 2006. She completed residency in neurology and fellowship in movement disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Dr. Kristine Tatosyan-Jones is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she earned her MD degree in 2007 and her MBA in 2019 from the University of La Verne. She has a B.S. from UCLA in Molecular Genetics and a minor in Russian Literature. She completed her Residency training in Family Medicine at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She has been in practice since 2010 and has held the title of Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2018. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Jones is a staff physician at the Center for Professional Health at Vanderbilt where she teaches physician empowerment and wellness courses. Dr. Jones is a strong physician advocate whose passion is to empower, inspire and teach physicians to be stronger advocates for themselves and other physicians.
