Alice Abrahamian, MD, FAAP is a Board Certified pediatrician practicing General Pediatrics at Central Pediatrics in Glendale. Dr. Abrahamian was born in Germany and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA and medical school at Boston University. She completed residency training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a national leader in pediatric care. At CHLA, she was selected to serve as Chief Resident and helped teach and supervise residents while continuing to care for complex and diverse cases. She went on to deepen her experience caring for underserved children at the South End Community Health Center in Boston, where she directed a program created to help children obtain a healthy weight while focusing on nutrition and a regular exercise regimen. Dr. Abrahamian now provides pediatric care at Central Pediatrics, a practice she established with Adrine Yadegarian, MD, FAAP, and that is a part of the CHLA Health Network. In addition to providing loving care to children and adolescents in the community with a special focus on nutrition, sports, and fitness she enjoys teaching CHLA residents on their outpatient pediatrics rotation. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, Armenian American Medical Society, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
