Maxim Moradian, MD, QME is a quadruple board-certified physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist) who sub-specializes in interventional pain management, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. Moradian evaluates patients in the office and performs diagnostic testing such as neuromuscular diagnostic ultrasound, electrodiagnostic testing (nerve conduction studies/electromyography). After proper diagnostic evaluation, he offers unique interventional orthopedic and spine procedures under ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance when conservative therapies (such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy) are not able to improve the patient’s symptoms. Dr. Moradian earned his B.A. in Biochemistry and minor in Spanish at Occidental College, in Los Angeles, CA. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Medicine degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA. After medical school, he completed a categorical residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. He concluded a private practice based dual-fellowship in Interventional Pain Management and Sports Medicine at Orthopedic and Spine Specialists, in York, PA with the world-renowned interventional physiatrist, Michael B. Furman, MD. Dr. Moradian is a member of the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine (AARM), American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), California Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (CSIPP), North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), North American Spine Society (NASS), and Spine Intervention Society (SIS). He serves on the NASS Coding and Performance Measurement Committee. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and the President/Founder of the Armenian American Pain and Spine Society.
