Dr. Hamparian, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who specializes in glaucoma. Dr. Hamparian treats a wide variety of eye diseases, including cataracts. Her practice provides a special emphasis in treating glaucoma, from diagnosis to treatment, from medical therapy to lasers and surgery. Dr. Hamparian earned her B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles and went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine degree at Albany Medical College in New York. She concluded her fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Maryland after completing her residency in ophthalmology. Dr Mireille Hamparian is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, California Medical Association, California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Armenian American Medical Society.
