Dr. Tigran Gevorkian is a graduate of Yerevan State Medical University. After completion of internship and residency training at the Department of Psychiatry of Keck School of Medicine at LAC – USC Medical center he worked at the Psychiatric Emergency room of County Hospital. Later on, he became a staff psychiatrist at Los Angeles County jail (Twin Towers jail) where he treated the incarcerated population for over a decade. Over the years, Dr. Gevorkian was involved in numerous clinical trials and participated in a variety of research projects. He was also staff psychiatrist at both Glendale Adventist and Memorial hospitals, Las Encinas hospital, Pacific Clinics, and at several county and state facilities. He simultaneously maintained a busy private practice in Hollywood and Glendale for almost 20 years. Dr Tigran Gevorkian is currently retired from both public service and private practice.
