Steven Richeimer, MD, is trained in the fields of pain medicine, anesthesiology, and psychiatry. He holds positions as a Professor of Anesthesiology and Psychiatry, as well as serving as the Chief of the Division of Pain Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). With nearly 30 years of experience, he has been dedicated to treating patients with various chronic pain conditions while also providing mentorship to fellows and students in Pain Medicine. Dr. Richeimer has authored numerous books and journal articles focusing on the treatment and psychosocial aspects of chronic pain, including "Confronting Chronic Pain," published by Johns Hopkins University Press. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the USC online Certificate and Master’s Degree programs in Pain Medicine, offering an innovative platform for advanced pain education accessible to all clinicians.
