AAMS Scholarship applications are now open for the 2026–2027 academic year

Thank you for your interest in the Armenian American Medical Society (AAMS) annual scholarship. To be considered, please review the requirements carefully and submit all materials by the stated deadline.

Please note the following information:

Applicants must be current students
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant, nursing, or other healthcare professional program in the United States
Each applicant is eligible to receive this scholarship only once during their academic career
Preference is given to students of Armenian descent with a demonstrated commitment to Armenian healthcare initiatives

Submission Requirements:

Completed application form
Proof of acceptance from current enrollment in a health professional program
Official transcripts from undergraduate and current health professional program (sealed)
One current academic reference letter
One reference letter demonstrating Armenian community service within the past two years
Personal statement

Optional:

If you would like to be considered on the basis of financial need, please provide the first 2 pages of the most recent tax returns for yourself and your parents

Applications must be postmarked or submitted by September 15, 2026.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Please do not use delivery services that require a signature upon receipt.

All applications are reviewed by AAMS’s Scholarship Committee, and information is kept strictly confidential.
