Evelyn Baghdasraian-Barkhoudarian, MD, FAAP is in her fourth year serving on the executive board of the Armenian American Medical Society. She received a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology along with a degree in Health Policy and Management, emphasis multi-cultural health, at the University of Southern California in 2001. She received her Medical Degree in 2005 at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she had many opportunities to practice medicine overseas, from Honduras to Armenia. Dr. Baghdasraian completed her pediatric residency at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in 2008. She practiced at Kaiser Permanente upon graduation through 2011, and had the opportunity to work as a pediatrician in the Emergency Department of Boston Childrens Hospital (formerly Childrens Hospital Boston) the subsequent year. She resumed practice in Pediatrics with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group in 2012. She is currently in her first year as chief of service of pediatrics at the woodland hills medical center.
In addition to being a Board Member for AAMS and ABMDR, her current projects include being the co director of medical education for the woodland hills medical center, Family Violence Prevention Champion for Woodland Hills Kaiser Medical Center, Physician Wellness Representative for Pediatrics, and Residency Liason for the Family Practice Residents to the Pediatric Department. She received a number of awards for her clinical skills, including the Physician Merit Award at Kaiser Permanente and the General Pediatric Service Award at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
