Revik Vartanian, DO is a dual-board eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician who also specializes in Pain Management. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed his residency training in PM&R at University of California, Irvine. He then completed his fellowship at UC San Diego Center for Pain Management. As an associate physician at California Sports and Spine Institute, Dr. Vartanian offers his patients a comprehensive set of potential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to alleviate pain using minimally invasive techniques. These include, but not limited to: fluoroscopically-guided spine/joint procedures, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve/musculoskeletal procedures, regenerative medicine treatments, electrodiagnostics (EMG/NCS), lumbar decompressive procedures, and neuromodulation. Dr. Vartanian has participated in several research projects and has presented his academic works in various pain societies.
