Dr. Khodam Rostomian completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Southern California (USC), graduating with the highest distinguished award, and completed his internship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Rostomian then went on to attend USC’s Doheny Eye Institute to complete his Ophthalmology residency training. In 1996, the doctor joined Southern California Permanente Medical Group (Kaiser Permanente) as Chief of Ophthalmology Service. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Rostomian has been practicing and interested in cataract surgery, surgical and medical management of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Additionally, the doctor holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has been appointed as Assistant Area Medical Director overseeing surgical services operation in Antelope Valley’s Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. He has attended Harvard Business School’s Executive Leadership Program and was awarded the Physician Exceptional Contribution Award of Kaiser Permanente. He currently serves on the board of Southern California Permanente Medical Group’s Board of Directors as well as the Armenian EyeCare Project’s Board of Directors.
