Jerry Manoukian, MD, has practiced internal medicine in Silicon Valley for over 30 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in ecology from UC Davis, and received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in 1991. Dr. Manoukian chaired the 9th Armenian Medical World Congress in San Francisco in 2005 and has been actively involved in continuing medical education since 2003. He served as Chair of his hospital’s CME Committee from 2006 to 2021 and as a CME surveyor from 2013 to 2025. He and his wife, Dr. Mariam Manoukian, coauthored Metabolic Syndrome Survival Guide for prediabetic patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Manoukian is a garage winemaker and is currently developing Polyglotte.am, a platform designed to facilitate multilingual communication at conferences.
