Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Armenian American Medical Society, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 11^th Armenian Medical World Congress (AMWC) which will take place in Los Angeles, California from July 3 to 7, 2013.  Building on the strong foundation set forth by the World Congresses of New York and San Francisco in 2009 and 2005, and under the umbrella of Armenian Medical International Committee, we are proud to be planning an outstanding event.

It is our aim to design a high quality scientific program reflecting state of the art clinical practice and providing a common forum for discussion and debate in many disciplines of healthcare and science. Areas covered will include medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, health education, ethics, and complementary and alternative medicine as well as other topics within the allied healthcare fields.

The venue chosen for this event is the Loews Hollywood Hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Los Angeles.  The hotel is a part of the legendary Hollywood & Highland Center, a five level retail and entertainment landmark, home to the Dolby Theater (formerly the Kodak Theater) and the Grauman’s Chinese Theater and several hundred premier retail stores and fine restaurants.

In addition to being an excellent forum for exchange of knowledge, our social committee is planning a series of spectacular events with the goal of setting an ideal atmosphere for networking and for meeting old and making new friends. The range of options for activities and sightseeing, including Universal Studios, the Pacific Ocean, Disneyland, historic theaters and much more are guaranteed to captivate the attendees and their guests.
